Our students' work

Every piece follows a game pipeline and goes into a portfolio. We publish the best ones on the 3D GUN ArtStation, where studio recruiters look for new artists.

Now at Lesta Games
While building the project I really levelled up my texturing. We reworked and fixed it many times, but in the end I'm very happy with the result.

I've been working at Artvostok for over a month now, and that is largely thanks to the training.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Didn't find an answer? Ask a mentor during the free consultation.

Can I learn 3D modeling from scratch and find a job?
Yes. Beginners can start with our free course. Next comes a free call with a mentor and a personal study plan. The goal is to reach a hireable level.
Why mentoring rather than courses?
Regular courses give you knowledge.
Mentoring gets you results.
A course is the same for everyone. You watch recorded lessons but are left alone with your questions and doubts. There is no feedback and nobody checks whether you understood and applied everything correctly.
Mentoring is a personal approach. Your mentor adapts to your level, goals and pace, regularly reviews your progress, gives feedback, answers questions and keeps you motivated.
That does not make courses worse, but working with a mentor pays off more and brings better results in less time. On our platform we offer courses with mentor support that combine the knowledge of a course with the personal approach of a mentor, which is the ideal mix for learning.
Do you help with finding a job after training?
Yes. Your mentor helps you build a strong portfolio, set up your ArtStation, prepare for interviews and pass test assignments, and recommends you to studios when possible. The mentor does everything they can to get you hired. Our goal is your offer from a studio.
Can I learn 3D modeling in Blender?
Of course. Most of the mentoring happens in Blender: we teach modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and rendering in it. But if you work in other 3D software, we can still help. Our mentors can help with any 3D software.
Are the courses right for me?
Our courses suit both beginners and more experienced artists. The free courses are made for beginners: they cover the basics of creating game models and explain every stage of the pipeline in detail.
For more experienced artists we have paid courses that teach the advanced techniques used in modern game studios. You can also add mentor support to these courses, and a mentor will guide you through the course.
More experienced artists should also take a look at Mentoring
How long does a course take?
Each course has its own length, shown on the course page. On average it is 20 to 100 hours, but again, it varies.

Not sure where to start?

The consultation with a mentor is free. You will learn your level, get a plan and decide whether you need a course or mentoring.
