I hesitated for a long time about whether I needed mentoring, since there’s plenty of information online. But during our trial call, Maxim pointed out so many systemic mistakes in just half an hour—more than I could have found on my own in a year. That saved me a ton of time. We built the AK-74, and now I’m not embarrassed to show it to my leads. It’s great that we stayed in touch after the course ended—I joined the chat, where there are lots of people with real-world experience who are always ready to offer advice. It really feels like I’m part of the industry now.
